- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other engineers to identify project requirements and develop design solutions.
- Utilize design software and tools to create detailed and accurate final designs.

Bachelor's Degree In Engineering: A Final Design Engineer At The State Of Minnesota Should Possess A Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Engineering Field Such As Civil, Mechanical, Or Electrical Engineering.
Minimum 5 Years Of Experience: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 5 Years Of Experience In Engineering Design, Preferably In A Public Sector Or State Agency Setting.
Professional Engineering (Pe) License: A Pe License Is Required For This Role, As It Demonstrates The Candidate's Expertise And Knowledge In The Field Of Engineering And Ensures They Adhere To Ethical And Safety Standards.
Project Management Skills: The Final Design Engineer Should Have Experience In Managing Complex Engineering Projects From Conception To Completion, Including Budgeting, Scheduling, And Coordinating With Different Stakeholders.
Strong Technical Skills: The Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Engineering Principles, Standards, And Codes, As Well As Proficiency In Using Design Software And Tools Such As Autocad, Microstation, And Gis.
