  1. Provide high-quality oral health care services to patients in the State of Minnesota.
  2. Perform dental hygiene procedures, such as teeth cleaning, scaling, and polishing.
  3. Assist dentists during procedures, including preparing instruments and materials.
  4. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide recommendations for at-home care.
  5. Take and develop dental x-rays in accordance with state regulations.
  6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  7. Ensure a clean and safe work environment by following infection control protocols.
  8. Collaborate with other members of the oral health care team to provide comprehensive care to patients.
  9. Stay current with advancements in dental hygiene and assistive technology.
  10. Demonstrate a friendly and welcoming attitude towards patients and colleagues.
  11. Uphold the values and mission of the state agency.
  12. Adhere to state and federal regulations and policies related to dental hygiene.
  13. Participate in training and professional development opportunities.
  14. Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
  15. Represent the state agency in a professional manner at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Graduation From An Accredited Dental Hygiene Or Dental Assistant Program.

  • Current License To Practice As A Dental Hygienist Or Dental Assistant In The State Of Minnesota.

  • Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience Working In A Dental Office Setting.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With Patients And Dental Team Members.

  • Knowledge Of Dental Procedures, Instruments, And Materials, As Well As Infection Control Protocols And Safety Procedures.
