  1. Develop and implement individualized treatment and rehabilitation plans for offenders to promote successful reintegration into society.
  2. Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify the needs and risks of offenders.
  3. Monitor and document the progress and behavior of offenders, and provide regular reports to superiors and other relevant parties.
  4. Collaborate with other professionals, such as therapists and probation officers, to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for offenders.
  5. Utilize evidence-based practices and interventions to address criminogenic needs and reduce recidivism.
  6. Provide counseling and support to offenders, addressing issues such as substance abuse, mental health, and anger management.
  7. Conduct group sessions and educational programs to promote positive behavior change.
  8. Maintain a safe and secure environment for both staff and offenders, following all security protocols and procedures.
  9. Respond to emergencies and incidents as they arise, ensuring the safety and well-being of all individuals involved.
  10. Stay up-to-date on relevant laws, policies, and procedures related to the criminal justice system and make appropriate recommendations for program improvements.
  11. Develop and maintain positive relationships with offenders, their families, and other stakeholders to facilitate successful reintegration into society.
  12. Attend trainings, workshops, and meetings to enhance knowledge and skills in the field of corrections and rehabilitation.
  13. Maintain accurate and detailed records of all interactions and interventions with offenders.
  14. Adhere to ethical and professional standards in all interactions with offenders, colleagues, and the general public.
  15. Participate in team meetings and case conferences to discuss and develop strategies for effectively working with offenders.
  16. Serve as a role model for offenders, demonstrating positive behaviors and values.
  17. Comply with all organizational policies and procedures and maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the job.
  18. Perform other related duties as assigned by superiors.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Criminal Justice, Psychology, Social Work, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience Working In A Correctional Setting Or With Individuals Involved In The Criminal Justice System.

  • Strong Understanding Of Correctional Principles And Practices, As Well As Knowledge Of Mental Health And Substance Abuse Treatment.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build Rapport With Inmates And Work Collaboratively With Other Professionals.

  • Ability To Handle Stressful And Potentially Dangerous Situations, While Maintaining A Professional And Calm Demeanor.
