- Ensure the safe and effective use of medications by reviewing and verifying prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care and medication therapy management.
- Monitor drug therapy regimens for potential drug interactions, contraindications, and adverse effects.
- Maintain accurate records of patient medication profiles and dispensing activities.
- Advise patients on proper medication use, potential side effects, and drug interactions.
- Participate in the development and implementation of pharmacy policies and procedures.
- Oversee inventory management and ordering of medications and supplies.
- Train and supervise pharmacy technicians and other support staff.
- Stay up-to-date with new drugs, treatments, and developments in the pharmacy field.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations related to pharmacy practice.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance the delivery of pharmaceutical services.
- Act as a resource and mentor for other pharmacists and healthcare professionals.
Bachelor's Or Doctor Of Pharmacy Degree From An Accredited College Or University.
Current And Unrestricted License To Practice Pharmacy In The State Of Minnesota.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience As A Pharmacist In A Clinical Setting.
Knowledge Of State And Federal Laws And Regulations Related To Pharmaceuticals.
Strong Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With A Multidisciplinary Team.
