  1. Manage and maintain billing processes for various departments within the State of Minnesota.
  2. Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all billing procedures.
  3. Review and analyze billing data to identify any discrepancies or errors.
  4. Communicate with department heads and other stakeholders to gather necessary information for billing processes.
  5. Collaborate with internal teams to improve billing procedures and address any issues.
  6. Monitor and track payment statuses to ensure timely collection of payments.
  7. Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders regarding billing inquiries.
  8. Maintain accurate and organized records of all billing activities.
  9. Identify and implement cost-saving measures to improve billing efficiency.
  10. Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations related to billing processes.
  11. Prepare and present reports on billing data and trends to management.
  12. Ensure compliance with all billing policies and procedures.
  13. Train and mentor new team members on billing processes and guidelines.
  14. Proactively identify and resolve any billing related issues or concerns.
  15. Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and suggest innovative solutions.

Job Qualifications
