  1. Assist in the development and writing of grant proposals to secure funding for mental health and substance abuse services in the state of Minnesota.
  2. Maintain a thorough understanding of the state's behavioral health programs and initiatives in order to effectively support grant writing and administration.
  3. Collaborate with team members to gather and compile data, statistics, and other relevant information to support grant proposals.
  4. Conduct research to identify potential funding sources and stay updated on grant opportunities in the field of behavioral health.
  5. Manage and maintain grant-related documents and records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with funding requirements.
  6. Communicate with stakeholders, including state agencies, community organizations, and potential funders, to gather information and support the grant writing process.
  7. Assist in the development of program budgets and ensure that grant funds are utilized in accordance with established guidelines and regulations.
  8. Collaborate with program staff to monitor and track grant progress and outcomes, providing regular updates to supervisors and stakeholders.
  9. Participate in grant-related meetings and trainings to stay informed on best practices in grant writing and administration.
  10. Continuously evaluate and improve grant writing processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness in securing funding for behavioral health services.
  11. Demonstrate a strong commitment to the mission and goals of the State of Minnesota's Behavioral Health Division.
  12. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards when handling sensitive information related to grant proposals and funding.
  13. Serve as a positive and professional representative of the Behavioral Health Division, promoting its mission and values in all interactions.
