  1. Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans for critical applications in the State of Minnesota.
  2. Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities in application systems.
  3. Conduct regular audits and tests to evaluate the effectiveness of existing disaster recovery plans.
  4. Work closely with IT teams to identify and address any gaps in application recovery strategies.
  5. Ensure that all disaster recovery plans comply with state and federal regulations and standards.
  6. Facilitate training and education for employees on disaster recovery procedures and protocols.
  7. Continuously monitor and assess the state's applications for potential risks and implement necessary improvements.
  8. Coordinate and lead disaster recovery drills and exercises to assess the readiness of systems and personnel.
  9. Maintain documentation and records of all disaster recovery plans and procedures.
  10. Serve as a point of contact for any disaster recovery-related incidents and provide timely and effective solutions.
  11. Stay updated on industry best practices and trends in IT disaster recovery.
  12. Communicate regularly with management and stakeholders to provide updates on the status of disaster recovery plans and any potential risks.
  13. Collaborate with external vendors and partners to ensure the integration of their services into the state's disaster recovery plans.
  14. Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to effectively implement disaster recovery strategies.
  15. Continuously review and improve disaster recovery processes and procedures to ensure optimal efficiency and effectiveness.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Disaster Recovery Planning And Management.

  • Experience With Disaster Recovery Testing And Documentation Processes.
