  1. Process and reconcile payments to vendors in a timely and accurate manner.
  2. Ensure compliance with state policies and procedures for all accounts payable transactions.
  3. Maintain organized and detailed records of all payments and transactions.
  4. Communicate with vendors to resolve any payment discrepancies or issues.
  5. Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary information for processing payments.
  6. Stay updated on changes in state policies and procedures related to accounts payable.
  7. Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements related to accounts payable.
  8. Follow internal controls and procedures for proper handling of all payments and financial data.
  9. Contribute to the development and implementation of new processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  10. Provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
  11. Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills.
  12. Adhere to strict confidentiality standards when handling sensitive financial information.
  13. Maintain a positive and professional attitude while representing the State of Minnesota.
  14. Continuously strive to meet and exceed performance goals and expectations.
  15. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient workflow in the accounts payable department.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Accounts Payable Or Related Field.

  • Proficient In Microsoft Excel And Other Accounting Software.

  • Strong Attention To Detail And Accuracy In Data Entry And Record Keeping.

  • Knowledge Of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (Gaap) And State/Federal Regulations.

  • Excellent Communication And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Work Independently And As Part Of A Team.
