  1. Maintain accurate and organized financial records for the State of Minnesota.
  2. Process and reconcile various financial transactions, including invoices, receipts, and payments.
  3. Prepare financial reports and statements in accordance with established guidelines and procedures.
  4. Ensure compliance with accounting principles and state regulations.
  5. Collaborate with other team members to identify and resolve discrepancies or errors.
  6. Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
  7. Respond to inquiries and provide support to other departments regarding financial transactions.
  8. Stay up-to-date on changes in accounting regulations and best practices.
  9. Maintain confidentiality and security of financial information.
  10. Assist with budget planning and monitoring.
  11. Participate in audits and provide necessary documentation and support.
  12. Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
  13. Perform other duties as assigned by superiors.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Accounting, Finance, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Accounting Or Bookkeeping.

  • Proficiency In Using Accounting Software, Such As Quickbooks Or Sage.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (Gaap).

  • Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With Attention To Detail.
