  1. Process and review applications for financial assistance, ensuring all necessary documentation is provided and accurately entered into the system.
  2. Conduct interviews with applicants to gather information and assess their eligibility for programs.
  3. Communicate with clients in a professional and empathetic manner, providing guidance and information on available resources.
  4. Maintain accurate and confidential records of client information and financial assistance provided.
  5. Continuously stay updated on state policies and procedures related to financial assistance programs.
  6. Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure efficient and effective delivery of services.
  7. Identify potential fraud or misuse of funds and report to appropriate authorities.
  8. Attend training sessions and participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
  9. Provide excellent customer service to clients and respond to inquiries and concerns in a timely manner.
  10. Represent the agency and its goals and values in a positive and professional manner at all times.
  11. Work with community organizations and agencies to promote awareness of available resources and services.
  12. Assist in developing and implementing new policies and procedures to improve the delivery of financial assistance programs.
  13. Comply with all legal and ethical standards and maintain confidentiality of client information.
  14. Adhere to strict deadlines and ensure accurate and timely processing of financial assistance.
  15. Perform any other duties or tasks assigned by supervisor to support the overall mission of the agency.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Social Work, Human Services, Or A Related Field.

  • Experience Working With Low-Income Individuals And Families, Preferably In A Government Or Social Services Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Federal And State Assistance Programs, Eligibility Criteria, And Application Processes.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Interact With Clients, Colleagues, And Community Partners.
