  1. Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments on patients to determine appropriate treatment plans.
  2. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and other members of the treatment team.
  3. Prescribe and monitor psychiatric medications as needed.
  4. Conduct therapy sessions with patients, utilizing evidence-based treatment modalities.
  5. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment plans.
  6. Collaborate with other physicians and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and integrated care for patients.
  7. Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding mental health conditions and treatment options.
  8. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care, treatment plans, and progress.
  9. Keep up-to-date with the latest developments and research in the field of psychiatry.
  10. Adhere to ethical and legal standards in all aspects of patient care.
  11. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure the highest standards of care are maintained.
  12. Support and promote a positive and collaborative work environment among colleagues and staff.
  13. Act as a mentor and resource for other staff members, including residents and interns.
  14. Maintain confidentiality and uphold patient privacy rights at all times.
  15. Attend trainings, conferences, and workshops to enhance professional knowledge and skills.
  16. Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, as well as federal and state regulations.
  17. Contribute to the overall success and growth of the hospital through active participation in meetings and committees.
  18. Represent the hospital in a professional and positive manner to the community and other organizations.
  19. Maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate patient needs, including on-call responsibilities.
  20. Continuously strive to provide compassionate and high-quality care to all patients.

Job Qualifications
  • Board Certification In Psychiatry: A Psychiatrist At Caro Psychiatric Hospital Must Be Board Certified In Psychiatry By The American Board Of Psychiatry And Neurology.

  • Active State Medical License: The Candidate Should Have An Active Medical License In The State Of Michigan, Allowing Them To Practice Psychiatry.

  • Completed Residency Program: A Completed Residency Program In Psychiatry Is Required For The Position, Preferably With Experience In A Hospital Or Clinical Setting.
