  1. Provide support and advocacy for victims of crime in the State of Massachusetts.

  5. Navigate complex situations with sensitivity and understanding.
  6. Collaborate with law enforcement, legal professionals, and other agencies to assist victims and witnesses.
  7. Maintain a strong understanding of victim services, criminal justice systems, and trauma-informed care.
  8. Conduct assessments and develop individualized plans to address the unique needs of each victim and witness.
  9. Document and maintain accurate records of services provided to victims and witnesses.
  10. Attend court proceedings with victims and provide support as needed.
  11. Keep abreast of changes in laws, policies, and procedures related to victim services.
  12. Provide referrals to community resources and services as needed.
  13. Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills.
  14. Comply with confidentiality requirements and ethical standards.
  15. Collaborate with team members to ensure a coordinated and comprehensive approach to victim services.
  16. Represent the State of Massachusetts in a professional manner at all times.
  17. Serve as a liaison between victims and the criminal justice system.
  18. Empower victims and witnesses to exercise their rights and advocate for their needs.
  19. Maintain a positive and supportive attitude towards victims and witnesses.
  20. Continuously strive to make a positive impact in the lives of those affected by crime.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Social Work, Criminal Justice, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working With Victims Of Crime Or In A Related Field.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Provide Emotional Support And Advocacy To Victims.
