
District Court Paralegal

- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to assist attorneys in building strong cases.
- Prepare and file court documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs, in a timely and accurate manner.

- Communicate with clients, witnesses, and other parties involved in cases to gather necessary information and provide updates on case status.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, depositions, and court appearances for attorneys.
- Assist attorneys in preparing for trials and hearings, including organizing exhibits and evidence.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of court procedures and rules, and ensure all filings and actions comply with them.
- Use electronic case management systems to track case progress and update information as needed.
- Handle administrative tasks, such as billing, timekeeping, and maintaining calendars for attorneys.
- Collaborate with other paralegals and legal staff to ensure efficient and effective operation of the district courts.
- Stay informed of any changes in laws and regulations that may impact current or future cases.
- Provide excellent customer service to clients and the court system, demonstrating a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.
- Maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information.
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities to continuously improve skills and stay current with legal procedures.
Bachelor's Degree In Paralegal Studies Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working As A Paralegal In A District Court Setting.
Knowledge Of State And Federal Court Procedures, Rules, And Regulations.
Strong Written And Verbal Communication Skills.
Proficiency In Legal Research And Case Management Software.
