  1. Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities in a compassionate and professional manner.
  2. Develop and implement individualized care plans based on each client's unique needs and abilities.
  3. Monitor and document client progress and report any concerns or changes in behavior to supervisors.
  4. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including therapists, social workers, and medical professionals, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
  5. Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
  6. Promote independence and self-advocacy skills for clients.
  7. Maintain a safe and clean living environment for clients.
  8. Administer medication and monitor for any adverse reactions.
  9. Provide transportation to clients for appointments and community activities.
  10. Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities.
  11. Advocate for the rights and needs of individuals with developmental disabilities.
  12. Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other stakeholders.
  13. Adhere to all agency policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
  14. Maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy of clients.
  15. Continuously seek ways to improve and enhance the quality of services provided.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Social Work, Psychology, Or A Related Field.

  • Strong Communication, Organizational, And Problem-Solving Skills.

  • Knowledge Of State And Federal Laws And Regulations Related To Developmental Disabilities.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working In The Developmental Services Field.

  • Ability To Work Independently And As Part Of A Team, With A Commitment To Person-Centered Care And Advocacy For Individuals With Developmental Disabilities.
