- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including therapists, social workers, and medical professionals, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Promote independence and self-advocacy skills for clients.
- Maintain a safe and clean living environment for clients.
- Administer medication and monitor for any adverse reactions.
- Provide transportation to clients for appointments and community activities.
- Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities.
- Advocate for the rights and needs of individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other stakeholders.
- Adhere to all agency policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
- Maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy of clients.
- Continuously seek ways to improve and enhance the quality of services provided.
Bachelor's Degree In Social Work, Psychology, Or A Related Field.
Strong Communication, Organizational, And Problem-Solving Skills.
Knowledge Of State And Federal Laws And Regulations Related To Developmental Disabilities.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working In The Developmental Services Field.
Ability To Work Independently And As Part Of A Team, With A Commitment To Person-Centered Care And Advocacy For Individuals With Developmental Disabilities.
