  1. Provide a welcoming and inclusive environment for interns entering the State of Massachusetts' Contracted Student Internship program.
  2. Facilitate interns' integration into the government work environment and provide them with all necessary resources and information.
  3. Assign interns to relevant departments and duties based on their skills and interests.
  4. Create a structured and comprehensive learning plan for interns, outlining their responsibilities, goals, and expected outcomes.
  5. Supervise and guide interns throughout their internship, providing regular feedback and support.
  6. Encourage interns to take initiative and participate in various projects and tasks, allowing for hands-on experience and skill development.
  7. Foster a collaborative and inclusive culture by promoting teamwork and communication among interns and other government employees.
  8. Ensure interns understand and adhere to the state's policies and procedures.
  9. Encourage interns to actively engage in public service and make a positive impact on the lives of Massachusetts residents.
  10. Monitor interns' progress and provide guidance for improvement and professional growth.
  11. Conduct exit interviews and provide interns with feedback and recommendations for their future career development.
  12. Maintain records of interns' work and achievements for future reference and evaluation.
  13. Continuously evaluate and improve the internship program to meet the needs of both the interns and the state government.

Job Qualifications
  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills.

  • Strong Academic Record, With A Minimum Gpa Of 3.0.

  • Currently Enrolled In An Accredited College Or University.

  • Demonstrated Interest In And Knowledge Of The State Government.

  • Availability To Work A Minimum Of 10-15 Hours Per Week During The Academic Year And Full-Time During The Summer.
