  1. Conduct assessments and evaluations of individuals with mental health needs to determine appropriate care and treatment plans.
  2. Provide evidence-based mental health nursing interventions and treatments to promote overall wellness.
  3. Collaborate with community partners and resources to ensure individuals receive comprehensive and coordinated care.
  4. Advocate for individuals with mental health needs and ensure their rights are respected and upheld.
  5. Serve as a resource for community members and organizations in regards to mental health issues and resources.
  6. Monitor and track client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  7. Educate and train staff and community members on mental health topics and best practices.
  8. Maintain accurate and confidential records of client interactions and treatment plans.
  9. Stay up-to-date on current research and developments in the field of mental health nursing.
  10. Participate in team meetings and interdisciplinary collaboration to develop comprehensive care plans.
  11. Adhere to ethical and legal standards in all aspects of work.
  12. Provide crisis intervention and support as needed.
  13. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance services and outcomes.
  14. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care for clients.
  15. Demonstrate cultural competency and sensitivity in working with diverse communities.
  16. Continuously strive to improve and enhance mental health services for the community.
  17. Maintain a positive and professional attitude while representing the organization.
  18. Act as a role model and mentor for other mental health professionals.
  19. Serve as a liaison between the organization and other community agencies and organizations.
  20. Perform other duties as assigned by superiors.

Job Qualifications
  • Master's Degree In Psychiatric Nursing Or Related Field From An Accredited Institution.

  • Current License To Practice As A Registered Nurse In The State Of Massachusetts.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Community Mental Health Nursing, With A Focus On Providing Care To Individuals With Serious Mental Illness.

  • Knowledge And Understanding Of State And Federal Mental Health Laws And Regulations.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build Relationships And Collaborate With A Variety Of Stakeholders, Including Clients, Families, And Community Agencies.
