Then we have a unique opportunity for you to join our team as a College and Career Readiness & Pathways Liaison for the State of Massachusetts.In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing initiatives to support college and career readiness for students across the state. You will serve as a liaison between schools, colleges, and employers to create pathways for students to gain the necessary skills and knowledge for their desired careers.To succeed in this position, you must have a strong understanding of the education system, excellent communication and networking skills, and a passion for helping students succeed.   1. Develop and implement initiatives to support college and career readiness for students in the State of Massachusetts.
  2. Serve as a liaison between schools, colleges, and employers to create pathways for students to gain the necessary skills and knowledge for their desired careers.
  3. Collaborate with educational institutions and employers to identify and promote opportunities for students in various industries.
  4. Conduct research and stay updated on industry trends and labor market demands to inform career readiness initiatives.
  5. Develop and deliver presentations and workshops to educate students and parents on college and career readiness strategies.
  6. Provide guidance and support to students in navigating the college application process, financial aid, and career exploration.
  7. Develop partnerships with community organizations, businesses, and other stakeholders to expand opportunities for students.
  8. Utilize data and analytics to track the effectiveness of career readiness initiatives and make recommendations for improvement.
  9. Stay up-to-date on relevant legislation and policies related to college and career readiness and advocate for students' needs.
  10. Collaborate with other education professionals and stakeholders to develop and implement a comprehensive college and career readiness plan for the state.
  11. Build and maintain relationships with students, families, and educators to promote a culture of college and career readiness.
  12. Stay informed on best practices and innovative strategies to support students' transition from high school to college and careers.
  13. Serve as a resource and provide guidance to schools and districts on implementing college and career readiness programs and initiatives.
  14. Attend conferences, workshops, and other professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills related to college and career readiness.
  15. Communicate regularly with state and local agencies and organizations to gather information and resources to support college and career readiness initiatives.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Education, Counseling, Or A Related Field, With A Focus On Career Readiness And Pathways Development.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In A Similar Role, Preferably In A Higher Education Or State Government Setting.

  • Strong Knowledge Of College And Career Readiness Programs And Initiatives, Including Career Exploration, College Admissions, And Financial Aid.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build Relationships With Stakeholders At All Levels.

  • Knowledge Of State And Federal Laws And Regulations Related To Education And Career Readiness, Including The Carl D. Perkins Career And Technical Education Act And The Every Student Succeeds Act.
