  1. Develop and implement innovative strategies for integrating technology into the state's educational system.
  2. Collaborate with educators, administrators, and technology experts to identify and address technology needs and challenges.
  3. Stay up-to-date on current trends and best practices in educational technology and make recommendations for implementation.
  4. Lead and oversee the implementation of new technology initiatives.
  5. Train and support educators in effectively utilizing technology to enhance educational experiences and drive student success.
  6. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of technology integration in the educational system and make adjustments as needed.
  7. Manage and oversee the budget for educational technology initiatives.
  8. Serve as a liaison between the state's educational system and technology vendors.
  9. Act as a resource for educators and administrators on the use of technology in the classroom.
  10. Participate in conferences and professional development opportunities related to educational technology.
  11. Develop and maintain relationships with other state and national educational technology leaders.
  12. Communicate regularly with stakeholders about the progress and impact of technology initiatives.
  13. Collaborate with other departments and agencies to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to technology in education.
  14. Provide leadership and supervision to a team of educational technology professionals.
  15. Uphold the state's commitment to improving student outcomes through the use of technology.

Job Qualifications
  • A Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Educational Technology, Preferably In A Leadership Or Management Role.

  • A Thorough Understanding Of Current And Emerging Educational Technologies, Including Learning Management Systems, Digital Content Platforms, And Instructional Design Tools.

  • Strong Project Management Skills, With The Ability To Lead And Oversee The Implementation Of Technology Initiatives In A Complex Organizational Setting.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Diverse Stakeholders And Effectively Communicate Technical Concepts To Non-Technical Audiences.

  • A Graduate Degree In Educational Technology, Instructional Design, Or A Related Field Is Preferred, Along With Relevant Certifications Such As Certified Educational Technology Leader (Cetl) Or Certified Online Learning Administrator (Cola).
