Welcome to the State of Kentucky's Employment Programs team! We are excited to announce an opening for the role of Employment Programs Associate.   1. Conduct outreach and actively engage with job seekers to connect them with employment opportunities and resources.
  2. Provide information and guidance to individuals seeking employment, including assistance with resume writing, job searching, and interview preparation.
  3. Collaborate with employers and community partners to develop and maintain a database of available job opportunities.
  4. Monitor and track program metrics, including number of job placements and success rates, to ensure program effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  5. Assist in the development and implementation of new employment programs and initiatives.
  6. Stay updated on current labor market trends and changes in employment laws and regulations to provide accurate and relevant information to job seekers.
  7. Conduct intake and assessment of job seekers to determine eligibility for various employment programs and services.
  8. Maintain confidential and accurate records of all program activities and participant information.
  9. Serve as a liaison between job seekers and potential employers, facilitating communication and addressing any concerns or issues.
  10. Participate in team meetings and trainings to share knowledge and best practices, and contribute to the overall success of the Employment Programs team.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Human Resources, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Employment Programs, Workforce Development, Or A Related Field.

  • Strong Understanding Of Federal And State Employment Laws And Regulations.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With A Diverse Team And Communicate Effectively With Program Participants.

  • Proficiency In Microsoft Office And Experience With Database Management And Reporting.
