- Manage and maintain the technological infrastructure of the state, including network systems, servers, and security protocols.
- Monitor and troubleshoot system performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement system upgrades and enhancements to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure the security and integrity of all state systems and data.
- Collaborate with other IT professionals to develop and implement new technologies and strategies.
- Provide technical support and assistance to users across the state.
- Create and maintain documentation for system configurations and procedures.
- Stay informed of industry trends and advancements to make recommendations for system improvements.
- Train and mentor other team members on system maintenance and management.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including management and users, to provide updates and address any concerns.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and policies related to technology and data management.
- Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity planning and execution.
- Conduct regular system audits to identify and address any potential vulnerabilities.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory of all hardware and software.
- Collaborate with vendors and service providers to ensure timely resolution of any system issues.
Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In A Systems Administrator Role.
Strong Knowledge Of Networking Principles And Protocols, Including Tcp/Ip, Dns, Dhcp, And Vpn.
Proficiency In Server Administration For Windows And Linux Operating Systems.
Experience With Virtualization Technologies Such As Vmware Or Hyper-V.
