  1. Provide comprehensive support to military members and their families to ensure their well-being and readiness.
  2. Develop and implement programs and resources to support the unique needs of military families.
  3. Conduct needs assessments and provide referrals to appropriate resources for military families in need.
  4. Collaborate with other agencies and organizations to coordinate services and support for military families.
  5. Serve as a liaison between military families and the military community, advocating for their needs and concerns.
  6. Plan and execute events and workshops to promote the physical, emotional, and social well-being of military families.
  7. Maintain accurate and confidential records of services provided and outcomes achieved for military families.
  8. Stay up-to-date on military policies, programs, and resources to effectively support military families.
  9. Provide crisis intervention and support for military families during times of deployment, separation, or other challenges.
  10. Offer guidance and support to military family members on topics such as financial management, education, and employment opportunities.
  11. Conduct outreach and awareness efforts to increase access and utilization of services for military families.
  12. Collaborate with other Soldier and Family Readiness Specialists to share best practices and improve services.
  13. Uphold the mission and values of the State of Georgia and the military community in all interactions with military families.
  14. Maintain professionalism and confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information related to military families.
  15. Attend training and professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills in supporting military families.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Social Work, Counseling, Human Services, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Providing Support And Resources To Military Families.

  • Knowledge And Understanding Of Military Culture, Programs, And Resources.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Work With Diverse Populations.

  • Ability To Maintain Confidentiality And Handle Sensitive Information With Professionalism And Discretion.
