  1. Process Retirement Benefit Payments: The primary responsibility of this role is to accurately and efficiently process retirement benefit payments for employees, retirees, and beneficiaries. This includes verifying eligibility, calculating payment amounts, and ensuring timely delivery of payments.
  2. Maintain Retirement Benefit Records: The Retirement Benefit Payments Specialist will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of retirement benefit payments, including employee information, payment history, and any changes to benefits or eligibility.
  3. Communicate with Employees: This role requires strong communication skills to effectively communicate with employees regarding their retirement benefits. This may include answering questions, providing updates on payment status, and resolving any issues or discrepancies.
  4. Ensure Compliance: The Retirement Benefit Payments Specialist is responsible for ensuring all retirement benefit payments are in compliance with state and federal laws, as well as following established policies and procedures.
  5. Collaborate with Team: This role will work closely with other members of the retirement benefits team to ensure a smooth and efficient process for all retirement benefit payments. This may include collaborating on process improvements or assisting with cross-training.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Retirement Benefit Administration Or A Similar Role.

  • Extensive Knowledge Of Federal And State Laws And Regulations Related To Retirement Benefits, Including But Not Limited To Erisa, Cobra, And Hipaa.

  • Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Accurately Calculate Complex Retirement Benefit Payments.

  • Strong Communication And Customer Service Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate Complex Retirement Benefit Information To Employees And Retirees.
