  1. Develop and implement nutrition programs that align with the goals and guidelines of the State of Georgia.

  4. Educate individuals and groups on the importance of nutrition and how it can impact overall health and well-being.
  5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and community organizations to promote and support healthy eating initiatives.
  6. Stay up-to-date on current research and developments in the field of nutrition to inform program development and recommendations.
  7. Maintain accurate and thorough records of assessments, recommendations, and progress of individuals and programs.
  8. Adhere to ethical and professional standards in all aspects of work.
  9. Communicate effectively with diverse populations and adapt nutrition education materials to meet the needs of different audiences.
  10. Continuously evaluate and improve upon nutrition programs to ensure effectiveness and relevance to the needs of the community.
  11. Comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies related to nutrition and healthcare practices.
  12. Serve as a resource and expert on nutrition for the State of Georgia and its citizens.
  13. Collaborate with other team members and supervisors to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
  14. Participate in relevant training and professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills.
  15. Maintain professional licensure and registration as required by the State of Georgia.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Nutrition, Dietetics, Or A Related Field From An Accredited University.

  • Registered Dietitian (Rd) Or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (Rdn) Certification From The Commission On Dietetic Registration (Cdr).

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Nutrition Counseling, Menu Planning, And/Or Developing Nutrition Education Programs.

  • Knowledge And Understanding Of State And Federal Nutrition Guidelines And Regulations.

  • Strong Communication Skills, Including The Ability To Effectively Educate And Counsel Individuals From Diverse Backgrounds And Cultures.
