  1. Provide high-quality mental health services to individuals in the community.
  2. Adhere to all state and federal regulations and guidelines for behavioral health services.
  3. Utilize evidence-based practices to assess, diagnose, and treat clients.
  4. Develop individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each client.
  5. Collaborate with other members of the treatment team, including psychiatrists, case managers, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care.
  6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation.
  7. Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to track client progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
  8. Educate clients and their families on mental health issues and treatment options.
  9. Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities to stay current in the field.
  10. Maintain confidentiality and ethical standards in all interactions with clients.
  11. Advocate for the needs of clients and the community at large.
  12. Provide crisis intervention and support as needed.
  13. Collaborate with community resources and organizations to enhance services and provide referrals as needed.
  14. Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other professionals involved in their care.
  15. Adhere to agency policies and procedures.
  16. Uphold the mission and values of the State of Georgia and the behavioral health services department.
  17. Comply with all safety and security protocols.
  18. Attend and actively participate in team meetings and trainings.
  19. Maintain a positive and professional attitude and represent the agency in a positive manner.
  20. Continuously strive for personal and professional growth and development.

Job Qualifications
  • Master's Degree In Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, Or Related Field From An Accredited Institution.

  • Active And Unrestricted License As A Licensed Professional Counselor (Lpc), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (Lcsw), Or Licensed Marriage And Family Therapist (Lmft) In The State Of Georgia.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Behavioral Health Setting, Providing Direct Clinical Services To Individuals With Mental Health And Substance Abuse Disorders.

  • Knowledge And Understanding Of Evidence-Based Treatment Modalities, Including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, And Motivational Interviewing.

  • Ability To Work Effectively With Diverse Populations And Collaborate With Interdisciplinary Teams To Provide Comprehensive Care To Clients.
