Job Description

Welcome to the State of Georgia! We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Instruction Paraprofessional to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with teachers to ensure the success and growth of our students.   1. Assist teachers in creating a welcoming and inclusive learning environment for students.
  2. Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement lesson plans and instructional materials.
  3. Provide one-on-one support to students who require additional assistance in specific subjects.
  4. Monitor and document student progress and communicate with teachers about any concerns or improvements.
  5. Utilize various instructional strategies and techniques to engage and motivate students.
  6. Assist in the preparation of materials for classroom activities and projects.
  7. Provide support for students with special needs or learning disabilities.
  8. Promote a positive and respectful learning atmosphere in the classroom.
  9. Encourage and support students in developing their academic and social skills.
  10. Communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents/guardians.
  11. Attend and participate in professional development and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
  12. Follow school policies and procedures, including maintaining confidentiality of student information.
  13. Foster a safe and secure learning environment for students.
  14. Serve as a role model for students by demonstrating professionalism, integrity, and dedication to education.
  15. Continuously reflect on and improve practices to best support student learning and growth.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Educational Requirement For An Instruction Paraprofessional Job At State Of Georgia Is A High School Diploma Or Equivalent. This Ensures That The Candidate Has The Basic Skills And Knowledge Necessary To Perform The Job Duties.

  • Previous Experience Working With Students: The Ideal Candidate For An Instruction Paraprofessional Job Should Have Previous Experience Working With Students, Preferably In An Educational Setting. This Could Include Using Educational Software, Interactive Whiteboards, And Other Tools To Enhance The Learning Experience For Students.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As An Instruction Paraprofessional, The Candidate Will Be Working Closely With Teachers, Students, And Parents. Therefore, Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential For Building Positive Relationships And Effectively Supporting Student Learning.
