Instruction Paraprofessional

- Assist teachers in creating a welcoming and inclusive learning environment for students.
- Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement lesson plans and instructional materials.
- Provide one-on-one support to students who require additional assistance in specific subjects.
- Monitor and document student progress and communicate with teachers about any concerns or improvements.
- Utilize various instructional strategies and techniques to engage and motivate students.
- Assist in the preparation of materials for classroom activities and projects.
- Provide support for students with special needs or learning disabilities.

- Encourage and support students in developing their academic and social skills.

- Serve as a role model for students by demonstrating professionalism, integrity, and dedication to education.

High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Educational Requirement For An Instruction Paraprofessional Job At State Of Georgia Is A High School Diploma Or Equivalent. This Ensures That The Candidate Has The Basic Skills And Knowledge Necessary To Perform The Job Duties.
Previous Experience Working With Students: The Ideal Candidate For An Instruction Paraprofessional Job Should Have Previous Experience Working With Students, Preferably In An Educational Setting. This Could Include Experience As A Teacher's Aide, Tutor, Or Volunteer In A School Or Educational Program.
Knowledge Of Instructional Methods And Strategies: An Instruction Paraprofessional Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Various Instructional Methods And Strategies Used In The Classroom. This Includes Methods For Teaching Students With Different Learning Styles And Abilities.
Familiarity With Technology In The Classroom: In Today's Digital Age, It Is Important For An Instruction Paraprofessional To Be Comfortable Using Technology In The Classroom. This Could Include Using Educational Software, Interactive Whiteboards, And Other Tools To Enhance The Learning Experience For Students.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As An Instruction Paraprofessional, The Candidate Will Be Working Closely With Teachers, Students, And Parents. Therefore, Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential For Building Positive Relationships And Effectively Supporting Student Learning.
