As an HR Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our human resources functions.   1. Manage employee records: The HR Technician will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal information, job details, benefits, and performance evaluations.
  2. Support recruitment and onboarding processes: The HR Technician will assist with various aspects of the recruitment and onboarding process, such as posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting new hire orientations.
  3. Ensure compliance with policies and regulations: The HR Technician will be responsible for staying up-to-date with federal and state employment laws and regulations and ensuring that the organization is in compliance with them.
  4. Provide administrative support: The HR Technician will handle various administrative tasks, such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, and maintaining office supplies, to support the HR department's daily operations.
  5. Assist with employee relations: The HR Technician will serve as a point of contact for employees and assist with resolving any issues or concerns they may have. This may include conducting investigations, mediating conflicts, and providing guidance on HR policies and procedures.
  6. Contribute to HR projects and initiatives: The HR Technician will have the opportunity to work on various HR projects and initiatives, such as employee engagement programs, performance management processes, and diversity and inclusion initiatives.
  7. Coordinate training and development programs: The HR Technician will help coordinate training and development programs for employees, including scheduling training sessions, tracking attendance, and maintaining training records.
  8. Maintain confidentiality: The HR Technician must maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive employee information and adhere to the organization's privacy policies and procedures.
  9. Collaborate with the HR team: The HR Technician will work closely with the HR team to support their initiatives and projects and ensure a smooth and efficient operation of the department.
  10. Continuously improve HR processes: The HR Technician will be responsible for identifying areas for improvement within HR processes and procedures and making recommendations to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Job Qualifications
  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Human Resources, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In A Hr Role, Preferably Within A Government Or Public Sector Organization.

  • Knowledge Of State And Federal Employment Laws And Regulations.

  • Proficiency In Hris Systems And Microsoft Office Suite.
