  1. Conduct regular field surveys and assessments to monitor the health and sustainability of Georgia's land and water resources.
  2. Analyze collected data and provide accurate and comprehensive reports on the status of these resources.
  3. Identify potential threats to the environment and propose solutions to mitigate or prevent them.
  4. Collaborate with other team members and external agencies to develop and implement strategies for protecting and preserving Georgia's natural resources.
  5. Stay up-to-date with current environmental regulations and policies, and ensure compliance with these standards in all projects and activities.
  6. Use advanced geology techniques and tools to gather and interpret data on various geologic features and processes.
  7. Conduct geological mapping and modeling to better understand the geological makeup of Georgia's land and water resources.
  8. Participate in public outreach and education initiatives to raise awareness about the importance of environmental conservation and protection.
  9. Provide expert advice and recommendations to government officials and decision-makers on environmental issues and policies.
  10. Maintain accurate and organized records of all geological data and reports for future reference and analysis.
  11. Continuously seek opportunities for professional development and stay updated on advancements in geology and environmental protection.
  12. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while conducting fieldwork and handling equipment.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work With Diverse Stakeholders.

  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Geology, Environmental Science, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Environmental Compliance And Land Protection.

  • Knowledge Of Federal And State Regulations Related To Land Use And Environmental Protection.

  • Experience In Conducting Site Assessments, Data Analysis, And Developing Remediation Plans For Contaminated Sites.
