  1. Conduct initial assessments to determine clients' mental health needs and develop treatment plans accordingly.
  2. Provide individual and group therapy sessions to clients using evidence-based modalities.
  3. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and case managers, to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
  4. Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, including progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries.
  5. Utilize knowledge of various behavioral health disorders and treatment modalities to provide effective counseling services.
  6. Continuously monitor and evaluate clients' progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
  7. Educate clients and their families on mental health issues, coping strategies, and available resources.
  8. Adhere to ethical and legal standards of practice, as well as agency policies and procedures.
  9. Attend and actively participate in team meetings, trainings, and other professional development opportunities.
  10. Maintain a positive and supportive attitude towards clients and colleagues, promoting a safe and inclusive environment.
  11. Document and report any incidents or concerns regarding clients' well-being to the appropriate parties.
  12. Stay informed about current trends and research in the field of behavioral health counseling.
  13. Adhere to all state and federal regulations, as well as agency guidelines for confidentiality and client privacy.
  14. Collaborate with community organizations and providers to ensure seamless care for clients.
  15. Continuously work towards improving and enhancing services provided to clients.
  16. Maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate clients' needs, including some evenings and weekends.
  17. Comply with all necessary paperwork and documentation requirements.
  18. Represent the agency in a professional and positive manner at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Master's Degree In Counseling, Social Work, Or Psychology From An Accredited University.

  • Current License Or Certification In Behavioral Health Counseling In The State Of Georgia.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Professional Experience In Providing Counseling Services.

  • Knowledge And Understanding Of Evidence-Based Treatment Modalities For Mental Health And Substance Abuse Disorders.

  • Strong Communication Skills And Ability To Work Collaboratively With Clients, Families, And Other Healthcare Professionals.
