- Develop and implement curriculum for aviation courses in accordance with state and federal regulations and industry standards.
- Deliver engaging and interactive lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on learning experiences to students of varying skill levels.
- Assess student progress and provide timely and constructive feedback to help students achieve their academic and career goals.
- Maintain a safe and organized learning environment, following all safety protocols and procedures.
- Collaborate with other instructors and aviation professionals to stay current on industry trends and best practices.
- Serve as a mentor and role model for students, promoting professionalism and ethical behavior in the aviation industry.
- Keep accurate records of student attendance, grades, and other relevant information.
- Participate in departmental meetings and professional development opportunities.
- Utilize technology and other resources to enhance teaching and learning.
- Adhere to all school policies and procedures, including those related to academic integrity and student conduct.
- Communicate effectively with students, colleagues, and administration regarding course progress, student concerns, and other relevant information.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve teaching techniques and materials.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that respects and celebrates diversity.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and represent the school and the aviation industry in a positive manner.
- Adhere to all state and federal regulations related to aviation education and instruction.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills.
Bachelor's Degree In Aviation Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In The Aviation Industry.
Teaching Experience In A Higher Education Setting, Preferably In Aviation.
Knowledge And Understanding Of Federal Aviation Administration (Faa) Regulations And Procedures.
