- Conduct thorough investigations into each claim to determine eligibility for compensation.
- Communicate with victims and their families to gather necessary information and provide updates on their claims.

- Collaborate with law enforcement, medical professionals, and other relevant parties to gather evidence and information for claim review.
- Interpret and apply state laws and regulations regarding victim compensation to determine appropriate compensation amounts.
- Prepare and submit reports, documentation, and recommendations to the Victim Compensation Board for claim approval.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all claims and related documentation.
- Stay up-to-date on changes in state laws and procedures related to victim compensation.
- Provide excellent customer service to victims and their families, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
- Participate in trainings and workshops to enhance knowledge and skills related to victim compensation.
- Adhere to strict confidentiality policies when handling sensitive information.
- Assist in developing and implementing procedures and policies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the victim compensation program.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely and accurate processing of claims.
- Handle any other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Bachelor's Degree In Criminal Justice, Social Work, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In Victim Services, Victim Compensation, Or Related Field.
Knowledge Of State And Federal Laws And Regulations Related To Victim Compensation.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Review And Evaluate Complex Claims.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work With Sensitive And Confidential Information.
