  2. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to communication systems.
  3. Stay updated on the ever-evolving world of telecommunications to ensure the state's systems are up-to-date and in line with industry standards.
  4. Collaborate with team members to develop and implement new technologies and strategies for improving telecommunications services.
  5. Conduct regular maintenance and updates on existing systems to ensure optimal performance.
  6. Provide exceptional customer service to citizens and address any concerns or issues related to telecommunications.
  7. Monitor and analyze network performance to identify potential issues and proactively address them.
  8. Keep detailed records of all maintenance and troubleshooting activities for future reference.
  9. Work with vendors and contractors to ensure timely and effective installation and maintenance of equipment and systems.
  10. Train and mentor junior team members on best practices for maintaining and improving telecommunications systems.
  11. Adhere to all state and federal regulations and policies related to telecommunications.
  12. Continuously look for ways to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness in the state's telecommunications operations.
  13. Stay updated on emerging technologies and make recommendations for their implementation in the state's systems.
  14. Collaborate with other departments and agencies to ensure seamless integration of communication systems.
  15. Remain available for on-call support and be able to respond to emergencies in a timely manner.

Job Qualifications
  • Excellent Communication And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Work Independently And In A Team Environment.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Telecommunications, Information Technology, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Telecommunications Role, Preferably In A Government Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Industry Standards And Best Practices For Telecommunications Systems And Networks.

  • Proficiency In Network Design, Installation, And Maintenance.
