  1. Maintain and troubleshoot the State of Florida's telecommunications systems to ensure they are functioning at optimal levels.
  2. Collaborate with state agencies and departments to understand their needs and provide solutions for their telecommunication needs.
  3. Monitor and analyze telecommunication data to identify potential issues and proactively address them.
  4. Develop and implement new telecommunication strategies and technologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  5. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in telecommunications to continuously improve the state's systems.
  6. Train and support end-users on how to properly use the telecommunications systems.
  7. Act as a liaison between the state and telecommunication vendors to negotiate contracts and resolve any issues.
  8. Maintain accurate documentation and records of all telecommunication activities and procedures.
  9. Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations related to telecommunications.
  10. Collaborate with other IT professionals to integrate telecommunications with other systems and applications.
  11. Respond to and resolve telecommunication-related incidents and service requests in a timely manner.
  12. Proactively identify areas for improvement and make recommendations to enhance the state's telecommunication systems.
  13. Participate in on-call rotation and be available for after-hours support as needed.
  14. Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and management to provide updates, reports, and recommendations.
  15. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and standards to maintain a safe and secure telecommunications environment.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Telecommunications, Computer Science, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Telecommunications Analysis, Design, Or Implementation.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Telecommunications Systems, Including Voice, Data, And Wireless Networks.

  • Experience With Network Monitoring And Troubleshooting Tools.

  • Ability To Communicate Technical Information Effectively To Both Technical And Non-Technical Stakeholders.
