Job Description

A Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.   • Develop and implement arterial management strategies and systems to optimize traffic flow and enhance safety on state roadways
  • Analyze data and identify areas for improvement in arterial management and traffic signal operations
  • Work closely with stakeholders, including other engineers, transportation officials, and government agencies, to collaborate on solutions and ensure effective communication
  • Conduct research and stay updated on industry developments to continuously improve and innovate strategies and systems
  • Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of existing arterial management systems and make necessary updates and improvements
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to other team members and stakeholders on arterial management and traffic signal operations
  • Collaborate with state and local agencies to coordinate and integrate arterial management strategies with other transportation systems and initiatives
  • Monitor and evaluate system performance, identify any issues or inefficiencies, and develop solutions to address them
  • Prepare and present reports and presentations on the effectiveness and impact of arterial management strategies and systems
  • Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and standards related to transportation systems and ensure compliance in all activities and projects
  • Mentor and train junior engineers and staff on arterial management and traffic signal operations.

Job Qualifications
  • Professional Engineer (Pe) License In The State Of Florida.
