  2. Provide recommendations for improving IT security and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and policies.
  3. Utilize expertise and knowledge of IT security principles to identify vulnerabilities and potential threats.
  4. Collaborate with other members of the IT team to implement necessary changes and improvements.
  5. Stay up-to-date on industry standards and best practices related to IT security and compliance.
  6. Serve as a subject matter expert on IT security and compliance matters.
  7. Communicate audit findings and recommendations to relevant stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  8. Develop and maintain audit procedures and documentation.
  9. Conduct risk assessments and assist in the development of risk management strategies.
  10. Monitor and track compliance with IT security policies and procedures.
  11. Participate in the development and implementation of IT security training programs for employees.
  12. Assist in the investigation of security incidents and provide recommendations for remediation and prevention.
  13. Maintain a strong understanding of the state's technology infrastructure and systems.
  14. Work with external auditors and regulators as needed.
  15. Provide guidance and support to junior IT audit analysts.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Information Technology, Computer Science, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In It Auditing, Risk Management, Or Information Security.

  • Professional Certifications Such As Cisa, Cissp, Or Crisc.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Relevant Laws, Regulations, And Industry Best Practices Related To It Auditing.

  • Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Identify And Communicate Potential Risks And Vulnerabilities In It Systems And Processes.
