  1. Oversee all aspects of daily park operations, including staffing, budgeting, maintenance, and visitor services.
  2. Develop and implement strategies to preserve and enhance the natural beauty and resources of the park.
  3. Serve as a role model for park staff, promoting a positive work environment and providing guidance and support as needed.
  4. Foster strong relationships with park visitors and the local community, promoting the park's mission and addressing any concerns or issues that arise.
  5. Conduct regular inspections of facilities and grounds to ensure they are well-maintained and meet safety standards.
  6. Maintain accurate records and reports related to park operations, including visitor statistics, budget expenditures, and staff performance.
  7. Collaborate with other park managers and state officials to develop and implement long-term plans for the park's growth and development.
  8. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices, incorporating new ideas and strategies into park operations.
  9. Coordinate and lead special events and educational programs to engage visitors and promote the park's mission.
  10. Live on-site and be available for after-hours emergencies or issues that may arise.
  11. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and contractors to ensure park needs are met in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  12. Adhere to all state and federal regulations pertaining to park operations, including safety and environmental standards.
  13. Train and mentor park staff, providing opportunities for professional development and growth.
  14. Serve as a representative of the park and the state of Florida, promoting the park's unique features and benefits to visitors and the general public.
  15. Embody a strong work ethic and commitment to preserving and enhancing the natural wonders of Florida's parks.

Job Qualifications
