
Regulatory Consultant

- Conduct research and review existing regulations to ensure compliance with state and federal laws.
- Collaborate with various government agencies, businesses, and other stakeholders to gather information and provide guidance on regulatory matters.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve regulatory processes and procedures.
- Analyze data and trends to identify potential areas for improvement in regulatory compliance.
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure understanding and adherence to regulations.
- Provide guidance and training to staff and stakeholders on regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Participate in the development and implementation of new regulations and policies.
- Investigate and resolve complaints and issues related to regulatory compliance.
- Stay informed about changes in laws and regulations and make recommendations for updates to policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation related to regulatory compliance.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of regulatory processes and make recommendations for improvements.
- Represent the state of Florida at conferences, meetings, and other events related to regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with other departments and agencies to ensure consistency and coordination in regulatory efforts.
- Uphold the mission and values of the state of Florida and promote public health and safety through regulatory compliance.
Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Law, Public Policy, Or Regulatory Affairs.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience Working In A Regulatory Or Compliance Role.
Knowledge Of Federal And State Regulations And Policies, Particularly In Areas Such As Environmental Protection, Healthcare, Or Business Operations.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Interpret And Apply Complex Regulations And Laws.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Various Stakeholders And Present Information To Diverse Audiences.
