Job Description

In this role, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate and up-to-date records for our various departments. We are looking for someone with excellent organizational skills and a strong attention to detail.   1. Maintain and update records for various departments within the State of Florida.
  2. Ensure all records are accurate, organized, and easily accessible.
  3. Work closely with department heads to understand their record-keeping needs and requirements.
  4. Receive and process record requests from internal and external stakeholders.
  5. Use electronic record keeping systems to input and manage data.
  6. Follow established procedures and guidelines for record retention and disposal.
  7. Perform quality checks to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  8. Collaborate with team members to identify and implement process improvements.
  9. Provide excellent customer service to all stakeholders, both internal and external.
  10. Proactively identify and address any issues or discrepancies in records.
  11. Maintain confidentiality and security of all records.
  12. Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding any record-related issues or updates.
  13. Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations related to record-keeping.
  14. Train and assist other team members with record-keeping tasks and procedures.
  15. Complete any other duties or tasks as assigned by management.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of An Associate's Degree In Records Management, Library Science, Or A Related Field.

  • At Least 2 Years Of Experience Working In A Records Management Or Archival Setting.

  • Strong Knowledge Of State And Federal Laws And Regulations Related To Records Management And Confidentiality.

  • Proficient In Using Electronic Records Management Systems And Software, Such As Microsoft Office And Document Imaging Software.

  • Excellent Organizational And Time-Management Skills, With The Ability To Prioritize Tasks And Meet Deadlines In A Fast-Paced Environment.
