
OPS Human Resource Assistant III

- Provide administrative support to the HR team in various tasks such as scheduling meetings, maintaining employee records, and preparing HR documents.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of HR policies and procedures and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Assist in the recruitment and onboarding process by posting job listings, reviewing resumes, and coordinating interviews.
- Process and track employee benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave requests.
- Respond to employee inquiries and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and files.
- Assist in organizing and coordinating HR events, such as training sessions and employee appreciation programs.
- Keep track of HR-related expenses and assist in budget management.
- Collaborate with team members to improve HR processes and procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Stay updated on HR trends and regulations to ensure compliance and suggest improvements to current practices.
- Other duties as assigned by the HR Director or Supervisor.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills
Bachelor's Degree In Human Resources Or A Related Field
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Human Resources, Preferably In A Government Setting
Knowledge Of State And Federal Labor Laws And Regulations
Proficiency In Hris Systems And Microsoft Office Suite
