  1. Conduct laboratory tests and analyses of patient specimens with accuracy and precision.
  2. Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments in accordance with established protocols.
  3. Follow strict laboratory procedures and safety guidelines to ensure accurate and reliable results.
  4. Document and report all test results in a timely and efficient manner.
  5. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely results that aid in patient diagnosis and treatment.
  6. Monitor and maintain inventory levels of laboratory supplies and reagents.
  7. Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure the accuracy and reliability of test results.
  8. Stay updated with current laboratory techniques, procedures, and regulations to maintain a high level of proficiency.
  9. Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that may arise during testing.
  10. Maintain a clean and organized laboratory workspace.
  11. Adhere to ethical and confidentiality standards when handling patient information and specimens.
  12. Assist in the training and supervision of new laboratory staff.
  13. Communicate effectively with team members and superiors to ensure smooth laboratory operations.
  14. Comply with all state and federal regulations related to laboratory operations.
  15. Continuously strive to improve processes and procedures to enhance the quality and efficiency of laboratory services.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Medical Technology Or A Related Field From An Accredited Institution.

  • Certification As A Medical Technologist (Mt) Or Medical Laboratory Scientist (Mls) From A Recognized Board, Such As Ascp Or Amt.

  • Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience Working As A Medical Technologist In A Clinical Laboratory Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Laboratory Equipment And Procedures, Including Clinical Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology, And Immunology.

  • Strong Attention To Detail, Critical Thinking Skills, And Ability To Work Independently And As Part Of A Team.
