- Develop and implement strategies for the effective distribution and utilization of federal funds for various programs and initiatives within the state.
- Oversee the management of complex budgets, ensuring compliance with federal aid regulations and guidelines.
- Provide leadership and guidance to a team of staff members, including training, performance evaluations, and professional development.
- Foster strong working relationships with federal agencies and stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient use of federal funds.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of federal aid programs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
- Collaborate with other state agencies to identify and secure additional sources of federal funding.
- Stay up-to-date on federal aid regulations and guidelines, and communicate changes and updates to relevant parties within the organization.
- Analyze data and prepare reports on the distribution and utilization of federal funds, providing insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Represent the office at meetings, conferences, and other events to promote the state's federal aid programs and initiatives.
- Ensure all activities and processes comply with state and federal laws, regulations, and policies.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and stakeholders to support the office's goals and objectives.
- Continuously assess and improve internal processes and procedures to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the office's operations.
- Act as a liaison between the federal government and the state, responding to inquiries and requests for information.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on federal aid regulations and guidelines, providing guidance and support to other departments within the state government.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork, collaboration, and professional growth.
Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Public Administration, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Federal Aid Management Or A Related Field.
Knowledge Of Federal Regulations And Guidelines Related To The Administration Of Federal Funds.
Strong Leadership And Management Skills, Including The Ability To Effectively Oversee A Team And Manage Multiple Projects Simultaneously.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Internal And External Stakeholders At All Levels.
