  1. Develop and implement strategies for the effective distribution and utilization of federal funds for various programs and initiatives within the state.
  2. Oversee the management of complex budgets, ensuring compliance with federal aid regulations and guidelines.
  3. Provide leadership and guidance to a team of staff members, including training, performance evaluations, and professional development.
  4. Foster strong working relationships with federal agencies and stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient use of federal funds.
  5. Monitor and evaluate the performance of federal aid programs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
  6. Collaborate with other state agencies to identify and secure additional sources of federal funding.
  7. Stay up-to-date on federal aid regulations and guidelines, and communicate changes and updates to relevant parties within the organization.
  8. Analyze data and prepare reports on the distribution and utilization of federal funds, providing insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
  9. Represent the office at meetings, conferences, and other events to promote the state's federal aid programs and initiatives.
  10. Ensure all activities and processes comply with state and federal laws, regulations, and policies.
  11. Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and stakeholders to support the office's goals and objectives.
  12. Continuously assess and improve internal processes and procedures to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the office's operations.
  13. Act as a liaison between the federal government and the state, responding to inquiries and requests for information.
  14. Serve as a subject matter expert on federal aid regulations and guidelines, providing guidance and support to other departments within the state government.
  15. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork, collaboration, and professional growth.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Public Administration, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Federal Aid Management Or A Related Field.

  • Knowledge Of Federal Regulations And Guidelines Related To The Administration Of Federal Funds.

  • Strong Leadership And Management Skills, Including The Ability To Effectively Oversee A Team And Manage Multiple Projects Simultaneously.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Internal And External Stakeholders At All Levels.
