  1. Design and oversee major bridge projects in accordance with state and federal regulations.

  5. Monitor and manage project budgets, timelines, and resources.

  11. Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and other team members.
  12. Attend meetings, conferences, and workshops to stay informed and share knowledge with colleagues.
  13. Maintain accurate and detailed records of project data, including design plans, calculations, and reports.
  14. Participate in proposal writing and bidding processes for new bridge projects.
  15. Uphold the department's mission and values in all aspects of the job.

Job Qualifications
  • Professional Engineer (Pe) License In The State Of Florida.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Civil Engineering Or A Related Field From An Accredited University.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Bridge Design, Analysis, And Construction.

  • Proficiency In Bridge Design Software Such As Autocad, Microstation, And Sap2000.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of State And Federal Bridge Design Standards And Regulations, Including Aashto Lrfd Bridge Design Specifications.
