  1. Develop and implement strategies to optimize the logistical operations of the State of Florida's program.
  2. Monitor and analyze supply chain processes to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
  3. Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to ensure efficient and effective execution of logistics operations.
  4. Manage and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
  5. Forecast and plan for future logistical needs based on demand and budget constraints.
  6. Oversee the tracking and reporting of key performance indicators to measure the success of the logistics program.
  7. Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations related to logistics and procurement processes.
  8. Train and supervise logistics team members to ensure they are performing their duties effectively and efficiently.
  9. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in logistics technology to continuously improve processes.
  10. Develop and maintain a contingency plan to mitigate any potential disruptions in the supply chain.
  11. Prepare and present reports to management on the performance of the logistics program.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Logistics Management, Preferably In A Government Or Public Sector Environment.

  • Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing Large-Scale Logistics Programs, Including Inventory Management, Transportation, And Distribution.

  • Knowledge And Understanding Of Federal And State Regulations Related To Logistics And Supply Chain Management.

  • Strong Leadership Skills With Experience In Managing And Developing A Team, As Well As Excellent Communication And Problem-Solving Abilities.
