  1. Conduct thorough and timely investigations into criminal activities, including gathering evidence, interviewing witnesses, and analyzing data.
  2. Enforce federal, state, and local laws by making arrests, issuing citations, and testifying in court.
  3. Maintain detailed and accurate records of all investigations, including evidence and witness statements.
  4. Collaborate with other law enforcement agencies and departments to share information and resources.
  5. Stay up-to-date with current laws, regulations, and investigative techniques to ensure effective and efficient investigations.
  6. Communicate effectively with victims, witnesses, suspects, and other law enforcement personnel.

  9. Maintain a professional demeanor and uphold the department's code of ethics at all times.
  10. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance investigative skills and knowledge.
  11. Respond to emergency situations and provide assistance in crisis situations as needed.
  12. Serve as a role model for other team members and promote a positive work environment.
  13. Represent the department in a positive manner and build relationships with the community.
  14. Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure the safety of oneself and others.
  15. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by superiors.

Job Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's Degree In Criminal Justice, Criminology, Or A Related Field.

  • A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Law Enforcement, With At Least 2 Years At The Investigator Level Or Above.

  • Completion Of A Certified Law Enforcement Training Academy And Current Certification As A Law Enforcement Officer In The State Of Florida.

  • Knowledge Of Florida State Laws And Criminal Justice Procedures, As Well As Experience In Conducting Criminal Investigations And Collecting Evidence.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Independently And As Part Of A Team In High-Pressure Situations.
