  1. Conduct thorough and comprehensive investigations into reported criminal activity, utilizing a variety of methods and techniques to gather evidence and information.
  2. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies and other relevant parties to gather and analyze intelligence related to ongoing investigations.
  3. Conduct interviews and gather statements from witnesses, victims, and suspects in a professional and ethical manner.
  4. Review and analyze collected evidence to determine its relevance and admissibility in criminal proceedings.
  5. Prepare detailed and accurate reports documenting the findings of investigations, including all relevant evidence and supporting documentation.
  6. Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to all legal and ethical standards during the course of investigations.
  7. Stay up-to-date on current laws, regulations, and investigative techniques in order to effectively and lawfully carry out duties.
  8. Testify in court or other legal proceedings as a witness, presenting evidence and providing expert testimony as needed.
  9. Collaborate with other members of the investigation team to develop and implement strategies for preventing and detecting criminal activity.
  10. Provide guidance and support to other team members, sharing knowledge and expertise to enhance the overall effectiveness of the team.
  11. Communicate effectively and professionally with all parties involved in investigations, including victims, witnesses, suspects, and law enforcement agencies.
  12. Maintain accurate and organized records of all investigations and related activities.
  13. Work with a sense of urgency and attention to detail to ensure timely and successful resolution of cases.
  14. Embrace and uphold the mission and values of the State of Florida, while demonstrating a commitment to serving and protecting its citizens.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Criminal Justice, Criminology, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Law Enforcement Or Investigative Work.

  • Knowledge Of State And Federal Laws And Regulations Related To Investigations.

  • Strong Analytical And Critical Thinking Skills, With The Ability To Gather And Evaluate Evidence.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Conduct Interviews And Write Detailed Reports.
