  1. Analyze and evaluate legislative proposals related to housing policy at the state level.
  2. Conduct thorough research and gather data to inform policy recommendations.
  3. Stay up-to-date on state and federal housing laws and regulations.
  4. Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including state officials, legislators, and community organizations.
  5. Collaborate with other members of the policy team to develop comprehensive and effective housing policies.
  6. Identify potential challenges and areas for improvement in existing housing policies.
  7. Provide expertise and guidance on housing policy issues to colleagues and stakeholders.
  8. Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to decision-makers.
  9. Work closely with government agencies and organizations to implement and monitor housing policies.
  10. Stay informed on current trends and best practices in housing policy and make suggestions for policy updates or changes.
  11. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
  12. Uphold the values and mission of the State of Florida to improve the lives of its residents through effective policy development.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Public Policy, Political Science, Economics, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Policy Analysis, Preferably In A Government Setting.

  • Knowledge Of State And Federal Laws, Regulations, And Policies Related To Housing And Urban Development.

  • Strong Analytical Skills And Ability To Interpret Complex Data And Information.

  • Excellent Written And Verbal Communication Skills, Including The Ability To Present Findings And Recommendations To Stakeholders.
