Job Description

  1. Design and develop health education programs and materials that are tailored to the needs and demographics of the community.

  3. Conduct needs assessments to identify the health education needs of the community and use this information to inform program development.
  4. Implement health education programs in various settings, such as schools, community centers, and workplaces.

  6. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of health education programs, making necessary adjustments to improve outcomes.
  7. Keep up-to-date with current public health trends and research to ensure the accuracy and relevance of health education materials and programs.
  8. Serve as a resource for community members seeking information on healthy behaviors and disease prevention.
  9. Build and maintain relationships with community organizations and stakeholders to promote and expand the reach of health education initiatives.
  10. Communicate with individuals and groups in a culturally sensitive manner to ensure the delivery of inclusive and accessible health education.
  11. Prepare and present reports on program outcomes and progress to supervisors and stakeholders.
  12. Adhere to ethical principles and professional standards in all aspects of the job, including maintaining confidentiality and respecting the rights and dignity of individuals.
  13. Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills in health education and public health.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Health Education, Public Health, Or A Related Field.

  • At Least 2 Years Of Experience In Health Education, Preferably In A Government Or Community Setting.

  • Certified Health Education Specialist (Ches) Certification Preferred.

  • Knowledge Of State And Federal Health Education Policies And Regulations.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Educate And Engage Diverse Populations.
