  1. Develop and implement individualized education plans for students with special needs, in accordance with state and federal regulations.
  2. Utilize a variety of teaching techniques and strategies to meet the diverse needs of students, including those with learning disabilities, behavioral disorders, and physical disabilities.
  3. Collaborate with other educators, therapists, and parents to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment for students.
  4. Monitor and track student progress, and make necessary adjustments to instruction and accommodations to ensure students are meeting their academic and social goals.
  5. Create and maintain a safe and respectful classroom environment that promotes positive behavior and social skills development.
  6. Utilize assistive technology and specialized resources to enhance student learning and engagement.
  7. Provide ongoing communication and support to parents and families, keeping them informed of their child's progress and involving them in the education process.
  8. Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in special education and to continuously improve teaching skills.
  9. Work closely with school administrators to ensure compliance with state and federal laws and regulations, and to advocate for the needs of students with special needs.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Special Education Or Related Field.

  • Valid Florida Teaching Certificate With Special Education Endorsement.

  • At Least 2 Years Of Teaching Experience In A Special Education Setting.

  • Knowledge Of State And Federal Laws And Regulations Pertaining To Special Education.
