
CORRECTIONAL PROBATION SENIOR OFFICER

- Supervise and manage a team of correctional probation officers, providing guidance and support in carrying out their duties.
- Ensure the safety and security of the community by effectively managing the probation of individuals under the department's supervision.
- Oversee the rehabilitation and reintegration process of individuals under probation, including developing and implementing individualized treatment plans.
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations of probationers to monitor their progress and address any issues or concerns.
- Collaborate with other departments and agencies to coordinate services and resources for probationers.
- Serve as a role model and mentor for probation officers, promoting a positive and professional work environment.
- Stay updated on changes in laws, policies, and procedures related to probation and correctional services.
- Maintain accurate and thorough records of probationers' progress and report any violations or issues to superiors.
- Communicate effectively with probationers, their families, and other stakeholders to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the probation process and expectations.
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance knowledge and skills relevant to the position.
Bachelor's Degree In Criminal Justice, Social Work, Psychology, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In The Field Of Corrections, Preferably In A Supervisory Role.
Knowledge Of State And Federal Laws, Regulations, And Policies Related To Probation And Community Supervision.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Interact With Offenders, Other Staff Members, And Community Stakeholders.
Experience In Conducting Investigations, Writing Reports, And Making Recommendations For Probation And Parole Violations.
