Job Description

As a Benefits Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our employees receive the necessary benefits to support their overall well-being. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of state and federal benefit laws and regulations.   1. Administer all employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness programs.
  2. Educate and advise employees on available benefits and assist with enrollment and plan changes.
  3. Stay up-to-date on state and federal benefit laws and regulations to ensure compliance and make any necessary updates to our benefits programs.
  4. Collaborate with insurance providers and vendors to negotiate and secure the best benefits packages for our employees.
  5. Maintain accurate and organized records of employee benefits and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
  6. Respond to employee inquiries and concerns regarding benefits in a timely and professional manner.
  7. Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and completeness of benefits data.
  8. Coordinate with HR and payroll departments to ensure accurate and timely processing of benefits-related information.
  9. Develop and conduct training sessions for employees to educate them on benefits programs and changes.
  10. Continuously evaluate and make recommendations for improvements to our benefits programs to ensure they remain competitive and meet the needs of our employees.
  11. Assist with the implementation of new benefits programs and manage communication and rollout to employees.
  12. Collaborate with other HR team members to develop and maintain a positive and inclusive company culture that supports employee well-being.
  13. Monitor and track benefits expenses and provide reports to management as needed.
  14. Stay informed of industry trends and best practices in employee benefits to make recommendations for updates or changes to our programs.
  15. Conduct regular evaluations and surveys to gather feedback from employees on their satisfaction with benefits programs and make necessary adjustments to improve overall satisfaction.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Human Resources, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.

  • At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience In Benefits Administration, Preferably In A Government Setting.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of State And Federal Benefit Laws, Regulations, And Compliance Requirements.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate Complex Benefit Information To Employees.

  • Proficiency In Hris And Benefits Management Software, As Well As Microsoft Office Suite.
