
Assistant Director, Academic Affairs

- Collaborate with the Director of Academic Affairs to develop and implement educational policies and programs that align with the department's goals and vision
- Conduct research and analysis on current educational practices and trends, and make recommendations for improvements and updates to existing policies and programs
- Provide leadership and guidance to department staff and external stakeholders on academic affairs initiatives and strategies
- Serve as a liaison between the department and educational institutions, community organizations, and other relevant stakeholders
- Oversee the development and implementation of academic standards and assessments for K-12 students
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs and policies, and make necessary adjustments to ensure student success
- Manage budget and resources allocated for academic affairs initiatives, and ensure efficient and effective use of funds
- Represent the department at meetings, conferences, and other events related to academic affairs
- Stay informed about state and federal education laws, regulations, and policies, and ensure compliance with them
- Support and promote a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion in all aspects of academic affairs work.
A Minimum Of A Master's Degree In Education, Higher Education Administration, Or A Related Field.
At Least 3-5 Years Of Experience In Academic Affairs, Preferably In A Leadership Or Supervisory Role.
Strong Knowledge Of State And Federal Regulations Related To Higher Education And Academic Policies.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate And Build Relationships With Faculty, Staff, And Students.
Demonstrated Experience In Program Development, Strategic Planning, And Budget Management.
